New Release | Dead Man’s Number

Greetings all!

I’m thrilled to announce the release of the third book in the Roadhouse Chronicles series, Dead Man’s Number – Available now on Amazon! – https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07H1YY11R

Post nuclear apocalypse.

Cars with guns.

Zombies.

Explosions.

And a couple of bad puns.

Safety is at best a relative thing in 2073, fifty-one years after nuclear war scorched the world.

Kevin found a quiet little place to hole up with the woman who came to mean more to him than his lifelong dream, and a little girl she took in after the Virus wiped out her home. They’re well defended against bandits, raiders, and the occasional stray Infected.

But walls don’t face the sky, and all the guns in what’s left of the world won’t do a thing against a biological weapon dropped from an Enclave drone.

A message from a dead man disturbs this tenuous peace with a chance to stop the Virus for good, but it would send them right to the Enclave’s back yard. Tris can’t say no, and Kevin refuses to leave her side again, but they won’t bring a child along for such a dangerous ride.

Knowing it’s not only their lives, but the lives of everyone outside the Enclave at stake, they decide to hit the road once again, hoping their home―and their daughter―will still be there when they return.

New Release | The Artist of Ruin

Greetings all! I’m thrilled to announce the ebook release of The Artist of Ruin, the third book in the Vampire Innocent series. (Vampiric humor with a little drama.)

Sarah Wright knows she’s in for a rough week when a ghost asking for help is the least frightening thing she has to deal with.

A month after waking up as a vampire, unlife is feeling pretty sweet. Her mood swings are easing off, she’s got a decent boyfriend, and best of all, the parents let her slide on being lazy. They understand it’s a little awkward to keep a job when daylight can kill her.

Oh, and the whole magical powers thing is pretty cool, too.

After two weeks of quiet, her new normal blooms into a chaotic mess. Ashley’s awful luck with romance hits dangerously close to home. A simple favor for Aurélie ends with a possessed antique doll loose in the house, and worse, one random act of kindness gives Sarah something she’s never had before—a nemesis who wants to do more than kill her.

She wants to utterly ruin her.

Also, book one (A Nighttime of Forever) is going on sale. Grab it on #kindle for .99 over the next few days!

New Release | Citadel: The Concordant Sequence

Out Now!

Citadel: The Concordant Sequence – a post-apocalyptic young-adult novel

Eleven year old Kiera Quinn is sure she’s having a nightmare. She doesn’t believe a nap that started safe in her suburban bedroom ends in an empty wasteland. She doesn’t believe everyone she’s ever known may have never existed―and she definitely doesn’t believe an old man who tells her she will resurrect the world.

After he finds her crawling from a vent, the odd shaman clad in junk and old computer parts claims she is ‘the child born of the earth,’ humanity’s only chance to survive. As crazy as he sounds, being alone in a vast desert frightens her more than a kindly stranger. Desperate and scared, Kiera humors him, hoping her bad dream ends soon.

Fate has a funny habit of getting in the way of destiny. When an opportunity for a safe home presents itself, Kiera jumps at the chance. New parents and a new town―even a super-primitive tribal village―feel like the best place for a child to be, not off saving the world at the ramblings of a nutty old man. Adjusting to life without video games isn’t easy, but her new mom and dad give her what her old ones couldn’t: time and attention.

Alas, Kiera’s discovery of a secret within ancient ruins causes the ruler of the distant Citadel to regard her as a threat in need of disposal. Her only chance to keep her new family is to believe a crazy old man wasn’t so crazy―and that saving them won’t destroy the whole planet.

New Release | The Forest Beyond the Earth

After a late night (no way was I going to sleep- too excited), The Forest Beyond the Earth is live on #kindle!

Paperbacks will be available soon (within the week).

Under the watchful eye of the Mother Shrine, twelve-year-old Wisp ekes out a simple, but challenging life with Dad, foraging for food and losing herself in old books from the world that came before. She loves the Endless Forest―except when the Tree Walkers come for her.
In ages past, the great rain of fire and ash destroyed the Earth, wiping out the ancients and everything they had made. Nature has reclaimed much since then, spreading out in a vast forest full of wonder and dread. Ever in fear of being taken away, she follows Dad’s rules without question while learning to survive off the land.
No longer a small child, she accompanies Dad on one of his treks, her first time more than a few steps away from the cabin. A day exploring with him is the happiest time of her life, but joy is short-lived.
A monster follows them home.
Safe in her Haven, she hides while Dad goes outside to confront the beast. She wakes alone the next morning, and waits. Alas, her hope of his return fades with the daylight. Desperate, she breaks his strictest rule and goes outside alone. Not far from the cabin, she discovers his rifle abandoned next to the monster’s strange footprints.
Afraid but determined, Wisp sets off on her own into the Endless Forest to find Dad―before the Tree Walkers catch her.

New Release | Zero Rogue

Zero Rogue is now live on Kindle!

The Awakened series continues with Book 5!

Division Zero Officer Aaron Pryce understood any day on the job could be the last for him or his wife, but he never imagined he’d be the one to kill her.

As it turned out, the world of professional sports frowned on using Telekinesis on the field. So, a “career ending injury” sent him to West City to escape anti-psionic Britain. Two years on the force made for a drastic change of lifestyle for a once-famous Frictionless player, but meeting Allison made his exile worth it.

During a routine call, they corner a psionic woman in the middle of a robbery, who compels Aaron to shoot his partner. Despite his love for his wife, he loses an agonizing battle of wills. His mind, as well as his world, shatters. When he wakes, the store is gone; only a field of debris and dead civilians remains.

A department telepath attempts to verify his story, but triggers another fatal backlash, killing several officers. Considered a murderer with out-of-control powers, Aaron has no choice but to go rogue.

On the run from the law, he has one goal: to find the woman who destroyed his life―and end hers.

It’s January

Welp… It’s January. Figure it’s probably time for me to emerge from the writing cave and poke my head up on the blog a little. There’s a lot going on these days. I’ve been writing up a storm with J.R. Rain, working on edits for imminent releases, and recently finished a new MG post-apocalyptic novel, The Forest Beyond the Earth, that I’m going to take a stab into the world of self publishing with as an experiment.

Many thanks to the awesome beta readers who have (and are) reading over it while I wait for the cover and interior artists to work their magic.

Today is the release of Moon Mourning, the second in the Samantha Moon Origins series. Grab it here.

Also, the release date of The Harmony Paradox might be moving up to February!

Happy reading!
